“We continue to get out the word about being proactive about IT,” Plouffe said. “Most companies are reactive, and they’re constantly having to fix things that are broken. That costs them more money and more down-time for their employees.”
Instead, CSP offers 24/7 remote and monitoring, which allows technicians to see in advance when a client’s network might be headed for a fall and do what’s necessary to keep it up and running. CSP can monitor all computers on client’s network from a central location, which is more advantageous than monitoring each computer individually.
In addition to managed services, CSP provides small to medium-sized businesses with computer and network security, data backup and recovery, networking, purchasing assistance, installation and system upgrades, workstation performance and web services.
CSP’s clients include physician groups, consultants, law offices, hotels and small businesses.
Plouffe, 30, has 10 years of experience as an information technology specialist. CSP currently has two employees.
